I t was a spectacular moment yesterday, Saturday 12th August 2023 in Oyo town, the venue of the inter-zonal football competition between Ibadan Main-City and Oke-Ogun Zone1 as the latter scored a total of 6 goals versus the fomer 1 goal, to win the match. Oke-Ogun Zone 1 Football Team           Similarly, Ibadan Less-City was defeated by Ibarapa Zone in Ido town via penalty shootout.       Ogbomoso Zone had a technical walk-over on Oke-Ogun3  to proceed to the next stage while the match between Oyo and Oke-Ogun2 ended 2:0 in favour of Oyo Zone.                                 As  stated by the Chairman of the Sports Festival Committee and a former State Commander, Alhaji Femi-Sanni, t he football aspect of the Sports Festival is now expected to go into the semi-final and final stages. In line with one of the objectives of the organisation, men and officers of the Oyo State Command of Man O’ War Nigeria were on ground at various Common Entrance examination centre environments on Monday, 31st July 2023 to render selfless services towards the safe and effective conduct of the common entrance examinations to Junior Secondary schools in Oyo State. As mandated by the State Commander, Alh. Yekeen Lukman, road traffic management, crowd control, security and surveillance services were freely rendered by the organisation in around the venues of the said examination.  The State Commander, while commending members of the organisation for the job well done, stated that this exercise is one the programmes of the current Man O’ War administration in the State and is organized to render support to schools in Oyo State, apart from the “Operation-Stay-in-Your-School” which is ongoing.  The aim is to contribute towards public safety, security and community development in sc...
