PAD UP: MAN O' WAR OYO STATE COMMAND (FEMALE UNIT) CELEBRATES MENSTRUAL HYGIENE DAY 2022 Menstrual Hygiene Day takes place on 28 May every year. It's a chance to highlight the importance of menstrual care, and raise awareness about the issues faced by those who don't have access to sanitary products. Voluntary organisations, Nonprofits government agencies, the private sector, the media, and individuals come together to celebrate Menstrual Hygiene Day and advocate for the importance of good menstrual hygiene management. MAN O' WAR OYO STATE COMMAND ENGAGE IN COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICE The Oyo State Command of Man O' War Nigeria today, 7th May 2022, engaged her officers in a community development service to enhance the free flow of traffic within the State. Today's community development exercise is an approach towards rendering selfless services to the community, with the aim of complementing the State Government with a view of achieving a safe environment and smooth road for vehicular navigation.  This is in line with the code of conduct of the organization and as directed by the State Commander, Alhaji Yekeen Lukman in a statement issued on Saturday 30th April, 2022 while addressing some Area Commanders that their immediate community must feel their impact, otherwise, there will be no basis for their existence in such Community. The State Commander, Man O' War Nigeria Oyo State Command, Cmdr. Yekeen Lukman yesterday paid a condolence visit to the High Chiefs and Oloris of the Late Alaafin of Oyo; His Imperial Majesty Oba Dr Lamidi ADEYEMI in Oyo Town.  His first stop was at the residence of the Bashorun of Oyomesi, Chief Yusuf Akinade Ayoola. In his comments Cmdr. Yekeen noted that Alaafin will be greatly missed for his roles in the promotion of cultural heritage, his love for the youth and development of sports.  He also promised that, the organisation will play a viable role during the coronation of the new Oba and the final burial ceremony of the Late Oba (Dr.) Lamidi Adeyemi  Thereafter, he visited the palace, where he met with the eldest Olori, Iya Ilekoto as she is foundly called. NEWS: OFFICERS OF THE OYO STATE COMMAND MAN O WAR NIGERIA COLLABORATES WITH TRAFFIC CONTROL AGENCIES Yesterday, the 30th day of April 2022, officers and men of Man O' War Nigeria within the 33 local governments in the State were seen controlling traffic at major roads within Oyo State. This is coming after the State Commander, Cmdr Yekeen Lukman, deployed a 5000 men all over the state to help with t he smooth running of traffic in order to enhance a traffic free Eid-el-Fitr celebration. Places where this efforts came in handy included the Challenge, Apata, Mokola, Iwo Road Under Bridge, Oja-Oba axis in Iseyin and Oyo towns as officers of the command were able to avert a potential gridlock within these areas.
