NEWS: MAN O' WAR NIGERIA PAID CONDOLENCE VISIT TO OYO TOWN

The State Commander, Man O' War Nigeria Oyo State Command, Cmdr. Yekeen Lukman yesterday paid a condolence visit to the High Chiefs and Oloris of the Late Alaafin of Oyo; His Imperial Majesty Oba Dr Lamidi ADEYEMI in Oyo Town. 



His first stop was at the residence of the Bashorun of Oyomesi, Chief Yusuf Akinade Ayoola. In his comments Cmdr. Yekeen noted that Alaafin will be greatly missed for his roles in the promotion of cultural heritage, his love for the youth and development of sports. 

He also promised that, the organisation will play a viable role during the coronation of the new Oba and the final burial ceremony of the Late Oba (Dr.) Lamidi Adeyemi 

Thereafter, he visited the palace, where he met with the eldest Olori, Iya Ilekoto as she is foundly called. In his comments, he noted that baba came, saw and conquered after which he offered prayers to Almighty Allah to spare all he left behind.


 

The Commander and his entourage stopped to visit the Baale Akeetan, Chief Jimoh Oyeleye and Baale Onisa, Chief Olaegbe Musa Adewole.

They both commended the efforts of the men and officers of the organisation especially in crowd control at the Palace since the demise of Baba. They further advised the organisation not to relent  in all their efforts.

PAD UP: MAN O' WAR OYO STATE COMMAND (FEMALE UNIT) CELEBRATES MENSTRUAL HYGIENE DAY 2022 Menstrual Hygiene Day takes place on 28 May every year. It's a chance to highlight the importance of menstrual care, and raise awareness about the issues faced by those who don't have access to sanitary products. Voluntary organisations, Nonprofits government agencies, the private sector, the media, and individuals come together to celebrate Menstrual Hygiene Day and advocate for the importance of good menstrual hygiene management. The female unit of Man O' War Nigeria Oyo State Command (Gallant Female Unit) led by the unit Commandant (ASMOW. Salako Azeezat.
