It was the timely response of men of Man O' War Nigeria that probably saved the life of a teacher in ADS Secondary School in Saki West Local Government Area of Oyo State on Friday, 20th October 2023. One of the suspects being apprehended   The teacher was being assaulted by the suspects armed with knifes and assorted charms when the Intelligence & Information Gathering Unit of the Saki West Area Command of Man O' War Nigeria got wind of the incident. A knife retrieved from the suspects   Led by the Area Commander, DSM Odukunle Felix, the school invaders were overpowered and disarmed and the teacher rescued by the combined team of men of the Area Command and those of the Rescue Unit of the State Command. The invaders had been allegedly unleashed on the school by a disgruntled parent whose child was reported to have been disciplined for bad behaviour. On Saturday, October 7, 2023, the Oyo State Command of Man O' War Nigeria held the finals of its first sports fiesta at the Chief Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan. The event was a resounding success, with a large turnout of participants and spectators. The athletes competed in a variety of sporting events, including football, relay races, and sprints. At the occasion, Pastor Gabriel Amusan, the founder of Agbala Gabriel Apostolic Church in Ibadan, was decorated with the ranks of an honorary member of the organization as a War Marshall. He was also given an award for his support of the organization and its commitment to youth development.
