It was the timely response of men of Man O' War Nigeria that probably saved the life of a teacher in ADS Secondary School in Saki West Local Government Area of Oyo State on Friday, 20th October 2023. One of the suspects being apprehended   The teacher was being assaulted by the suspects armed with knifes and assorted charms when the Intelligence & Information Gathering Unit of the Saki West Area Command of Man O' War Nigeria got wind of the incident. A knife retrieved from the suspects   Led by the Area Commander, DSM Odukunle Felix, the school invaders were overpowered and disarmed and the teacher rescued by the combined team of men of the Area Command and those of the Rescue Unit of the State Command. The invaders had been allegedly unleashed on the school by a disgruntled parent whose child was reported to have been disciplined for bad behaviour. On Saturday, October 7, 2023, the Oyo State Command of Man O' War Nigeria held the finals of its first sports fiesta at the Chief Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan. The event was a resounding success, with a large turnout of participants and spectators. The athletes competed in a variety of sporting events, including football, relay races, and sprints. At the occasion, Pastor Gabriel Amusan, the founder of Agbala Gabriel Apostolic Church in Ibadan, was decorated with the ranks of an honorary member of the organization as a War Marshall. He was also given an award for his support of the organization and its commitment to youth development. I t was a spectacular moment yesterday, Saturday 12th August 2023 in Oyo town, the venue of the inter-zonal football competition between Ibadan Main-City and Oke-Ogun Zone1 as the latter scored a total of 6 goals versus the fomer 1 goal, to win the match. In line with one of the objectives of the organisation, men and officers of the Oyo State Command of Man O’ War Nigeria were on ground at various Common Entrance examination centre environments on Monday, 31st July 2023 to render selfless services towards the safe and effective conduct of the common entrance examinations to Junior Secondary schools in Oyo State. As mandated by the State Commander, Alh. Residents of Oyo state have been warned against the practice of disposition of waste indiscriminately. The warning came from the Commander of Man O' War in Oyo State, Alh. Yekeen Lukman while supervising the operatives of the organisation in Iseyin Local Government of the state. Men of Iseyin Area Command of Man O' War had to took it upon themselves to clear a huge pile of waste in front of the Central Mosque Iseyin on Saturday, 24th June 2023. While commending his men for the selfless service, he reiterated that henceforth, anyone caught dumping refuse illegally will be arrested and handed over to the authorities for prosecution. Commander Lukman stated that this action is one of the ways the Man O' War organisation in Oyo State is keying-in to the Omitutun 2.0 agenda of the Governor Seyi Makinde's-led administration.
