MAN O’ WAR IS A WORTHY PARTNER IN COMBATING VICES IN THE SOCIETY-AMOTEKUN

The Oyo State Commandant of Western Nigeria Security Network, codenamed “Amotekun”, Col. Olayinka Olayanju (rtd.) has described Man O’ War Nigeria as a very important partner in tackling various vices in the community.

The Commandant gave this opinion when the Oyo state Commander of Man O’ War Nigeria, Cmdr. Yekeen Lukman led senior officers of the Oyo State Command of the organisation on a courtesy visit to the headquarters of Amotekun in Ibadan yesterday, 14th July 2022.

Cmdr. Yekeen commended the efforts of the security outfit in combating various crimes in the community. He promised the full cooperation of Man O’ War organisation in supporting the activities of Amotekun via timely intelligence gathering and dissemination to the outfit.

In his remarks, Col. Olayinka thanked Man O’ War Nigeria for the visit and encouraged the organisation to continue to organize leadership training programmes not only for its members but the general public. He also hammered on the importance of intelligence and information gathering as one of the ways and means Amotekun can benefit from Man O’ War Nigeria.

PAD UP: MAN O' WAR OYO STATE COMMAND (FEMALE UNIT) CELEBRATES MENSTRUAL HYGIENE DAY 2022 Menstrual Hygiene Day takes place on 28 May every year. It's a chance to highlight the importance of menstrual care, and raise awareness about the issues faced by those who don't have access to sanitary products. Voluntary organisations, Nonprofits government agencies, the private sector, the media, and individuals come together to celebrate Menstrual Hygiene Day and advocate for the importance of good menstrual hygiene management.
