As the state commander of Man O' War, I urge the youth to prioritize peace and non-violence as we approach the upcoming elections. It is essential to maintain the peace and stability of our state during the election period. As young people, we have the power to shape the future of our state by participating in the electoral process, but this should be done peacefully and without violence.
We understand that electioneering periods can be tense and heated, but it is essential to remember that violence can only lead to loss of lives and properties. We, therefore, encourage all youth to desist from acts that can lead to violence or unrest. We urge you to resist being used by unscrupulous politicians who may try to use you for their selfish interests.
Let us all remember that our state is bigger than any political party or individual. We must work together to ensure peaceful elections and avoid any actions that can cause chaos or disrupt the electoral process. We should always prioritize our state's interests above individual or partisan interests.
Finally, we call on all stakeholders, including security agencies, electoral officials, politicians, and civil society organizations, to work together to ensure peaceful elections. We all have a role to play in ensuring that the election is peaceful, credible, and transparent.
