Yekeen Lukman Launches Tree Planting Campaign to Mark a Year in Office

A tree planting exercise was conducted yesterday at Bakatari in Ido Local government of Oyo State, as part of the activities to mark a year in office of the Lukman-led state executives of Man O' War Nigeria in the State.

The event was held at the proposed training base of the state command at Bakatari. In his speech, Cmdr. Lukman reminded the participants of the importance of tree planting to the environment, especially in this era that the world is witnessing upreceedented climate change. He promised that the exercise will be a continuous one.

The organisation also paid a visit to the Baale of Bakatari who appreciated the activities of Man O' War in his domain and Oyo state in general. He pledged his support towards the aspirations of the organisation.

While thanking God for a successful year in office, the state commander, Cmdr Yekeen Lukman thanked the National Commander, Col. Sani Adzmu Depsia (rtd) for the opportunity to serve.
He also appreciated the good leadership of the South-West Regional Commander, ANC Ayoade Adeoye whose immense contribution cannot be quantified.
He eulogised, the present and past state, area and unit command executives in the state for their support.
