Arrest of Truants at Olubadan Secondary School, Ibadan

At about 1100hrs on Tuesday, 31st October 2023, officers of Man O' War responded to a tip of the sighting of group of students engaging in truancy in the vicinity of Olubadan Secondary School, Ibadan.

Sequel to this, during a raid in the adjoining area of the school around 1135hours, a number of truants were apprehended in a nearby abandoned building which has been turned into a gambling den.


Items recovered from the said entities included knives, catapult and gambling items. The students and the recovered items were handed over to the school authorities.

The State Command of Man O' War Nigeria will continue to assist the authorities in ensuring an end to truancy in all public schools in Oyo State.

PAD UP: MAN O' WAR OYO STATE COMMAND (FEMALE UNIT) CELEBRATES MENSTRUAL HYGIENE DAY 2022 Menstrual Hygiene Day takes place on 28 May every year. It's a chance to highlight the importance of menstrual care, and raise awareness about the issues faced by those who don't have access to sanitary products.
